Important Reminders & Updates
Music Festival Practice: We had a successful music festival practice on Tuesday! The children showed great effort in learning the songs. For the last song, please see this Makaton video (only need to learn the chorus actions).
Arithmetic Intervention: Letters will be sent home today for our Thursday morning arithmetic intervention.
Arithmetic Assessment: Children completed their arithmetic assessment this week. It's important to aim for 75% (24/32) to support them as they go into year 6. Please continue to practice questions they are getting incorrect over half term.
PSHE: This term, we have held discussions around people's feelings and emotions. How children behave towards other children can affect mental health and self esteem in positive and negative ways. We have asked children to be considerate of the words they use with others and how reporting to an adult is important. We want to make sure all the children in our school are happy and safe when they come to us.
Homework: There will be no homework set. Instead, please continue to read with your child and go through the arithmetic assessment.
Spellings to be tested after half term (challenge words): immediate
sincere
changeable
afterwards
referring
knight
doubt
amateur
ancient
deceive
Have a lovely half term and we can't wait to see the children when they return on 9th June!
