Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for the strong level of sign-up already for the Year 6 residential trip in 2027 – an incredibly positive uptake, as expected. 

As you may be aware, our school term dates have changed slightly since the residential was first booked. As a result, the trip now takes place during the final week of term.

Please be assured that we will ensure all end-of-year events and celebrations for the children take place in the week prior to our departure. This means that our children will not miss out on any important activities or opportunities to celebrate their time in Year 6. We also feel this will be a wonderful way for the children attending the residential to end the year – enjoying a fantastic trip to Wales with their friends before moving on to the next stage of their schooling.

For those children who will remain in school during that final week, we will be arranging a range of enjoyable and engaging activities to ensure they also have a positive and memorable end to the term.
