Year 6 - Children NOT Attending Residential

Dear Parents and Carers,

For those children who are not attending the residential, we wanted to let you know that we have a fun-filled week planned in school!

Using the children's own suggestions, we've put together a range of exciting activities. These will include PE lessons, visiting our EYFS buddies, a cooking activity, tasks in the Wild West area and making special leavers' T-shirts, along with plenty of other enjoyable activities throughout the week.  Please note that the children are allowed to wear their Westerings PE kits all week.

We're looking forward to a fantastic week together and making lots of happy, lasting memories!

  • On Monday, could the children please bring in a plain / one plain-sided tshirt upon which we will be using fabric paint to make a Westerings leavers tshirt of their own design. The children will create their own design in their art books and then transfer this on to their tops.

  • On Friday, weather permitting, we will be having a water fight with super-soaker water guns we have in school.  The children may bring in a change of clothes to change in to after if necessary.

Thank you as always for your ongoing support,

The Year 6 Team
