Year 6 Update - Let's Smash It!

Dear parents and carers,

A short update this week, as no weekly spellings or assigned SATs Companion homework.

Your children have been exceptionally dedicated, positive and resilient in these final three weeks of revision leading up to their SATs next week. Each and every one of them should be proud of all that they have achieved so far this year, the challenges they have faced and the diligence they have demonstrated. They are all so, so ready! With this being the focus of the week, a few points for you:

• School timings are normal next week; children should arrive at usual time, and go to class as normal. Please ensure they are on time each day to best help them settle and be ready to show their best in their tests.

• We will be providing an extra 'treat' breakfast snack alongside bananas each morning for children to enjoy with their friends - please make sure they still have their usual breakfast at home though!

• SATs tests run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week, and are over and done with each day by around 11:00 am or so.

• If your child wishes to undertake some further revision over the weekend, then brilliant. However, more important than anything is rest and an early night Sunday!
