Year 6 Weekly Review (14.2.25)

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a lovely break! It was great to see the children focused and ready as they came back yesterday, ready for an important and exciting next 6 weeks!

As you will have noticed, there was no homework set over half term on SATs companion. However there is still our usual expectation of 4 reads on Boomreader and our weekly spellings.

Spellings:

  • Gymkhana

  • Bungalow

  • Veranda

  • Pyjamas

  • Easel

  • Ballet

  • Restaurant

  • Blizzard

  • Hoist

  • Origin

We have 2 very exciting events happening next week: VICTORIAN DAY - Tuesday 4th March: We will be having a full day of history on Tuesday with a company coming in to fully immerse our children into the topic! There is no pressure to but we would love to see children immersing themselves into the day with costumes!

WORLD BOOK DAY - Thursday 6th March: Another day to dress up! We will be celebrating all things books on Thursday - lots of information will have already been posted about this day by Miss Jackson! Have a great week!
