Year 6 Weekly Review (wb.23.2.26)

Morning everyone - I hope you all had a lovely weekend and you are ready and refreshed for the week ahead! It was a brilliant first week back last week with lots of fun on Monday with our TTRS day, as well as lots of other awesome learning from throughout the week. Make sure to check out our Dojo page for pictures from across the week. A couple of reminders for you about the upcoming weeks:

  1. World Book day is this Thursday! We are really excited to see your children coming in dressed as their favourite book characters. In the morning, we will be doing a painting activity; so that we don't ruin any outfits... if you have any old tops that you don't mind getting paint on, we would really appreciate it if you could send your child in with one. In the afternoon, we will be sharing a book with younger year groups; again, if your child has one they would like to share with a child from KS1, please bring it in!

  1. Water Bottles: Please can you ensure your child is coming in with a water bottle each day as, at the moment, we have a lot of children consistently not bringing them in.

  2. In 2 weeks time (week beginning 16th March) is our final mock SATs week before the big week in May. Children are continuing to make superb progress towards this date and we are excited for them to be able to show this hard work and achievement in these mock papers.

  3. Finally, PE will continue to be on Monday mornings throughout this half term. As the weather (hopefully) continues to improve, we will be completing some of these lessons on the field. please ensure that your children are dressed appropriately for this.
