Hello everybody! It was a super first week back in Year 6 last week, where children were exploring their previous half term's SATs results, starting new topics and getting in to the role of Victorian pupils! It was great to have all our children back and showing a superb mindset towards their learning! As mentioned, the children have been reflecting on their Mock SATs papers from before half term; these tests will be given back to you all at your parent consultation meetings. If you have not already, please make sure you are booked in to avoid disappointment! Independent Learning Books: At the start of the year, your children were given an A4 exercise book. Well done to all of the children who are now using this to improve on targets. Please make sure children bring these in so they can jot down notes, use them for interventions and so that adults in school can give them personalised target questions. Homework: We had a really low amount of pupils complete their homework this week. Please ensure your children are engaging with weekly tasks on SATs Companion, as well as reading regularly at home. Spellings:
window
shallow
soul
smoulder
known
poultry
shoulder
thrown

mould
Have a great week! Mr Bird & Mr Wade
