Year 6 Weekly Update 1/5/26

Dear parents and carers,


Year 6 have done remarkably well with the final push towards SATs in 10 days! Some notes for you below:


Spellings

A further set of Grammar related vocabulary for next week's spelling test:

  • active

  • hyphen

  • passive

  • subject

  • ellipsis

  • antonym

  • punctuation

  • colon

  • synonym

  • object


Bank Holiday & PE

Don't forget it's the bank holiday weekend this weekend, so we will see children back on Tuesday. For next week, PE will be moved to Wednesday so children are welcome to come in PE kits that day.


SATs Week Beginning 11th May

More details to come, but the timings of SATs week (w,b, 11th May) are as normal - children should arrive each day at 8:40am as usual
