Year 6 - Welcome back!

Dear parents and carers,

We hope you and your children have had a wonderful winter break, and the team look forward to welcoming students back to school tomorrow! Wrap up warm, it's due to be a cold week!

Spellings

Spellings this week are words with the '-ably' suffix:

• reasonably

• comfortably

• considerably

• noticeably

• adorably

• valuably

• dependably

• believably

• changeably

• tolerably

Homework

As usual, homework is due this coming Friday - tasks were set over the break, but we appreciate children and families may have left these until returning to school to undertake. Please ensure your child gets back into routine and looks to complete their two SATs Companion tasks (one English, one Maths) by Friday morning.

*** PE Day Change ***

Finally, due to timetable alterations Year 6 will now have PE each week on Wednesday afternoons - as such, please ensure your child comes to school in PE kit on Wednesdays from this point forward.
