Year 6 - Welcome Back!

Dear parents, carers and budding new Year 6 students,

Teachers and staff have been busy getting everything ready for your return these last two days and the team are really looking forward to seeing you back in school tomorrow morning for the beginning of our Year 6 journeys together - what a year it will be!

We'll be providing a weekly update each Friday about the upcoming week, however some pertinent information for the first couple of days is below:

Zola's Happy Hearts & Minds

For our first two days together, we will be undertaking a variety of reflective, collaborative and thought-provoking activities, aiming to make children feel settled, positive and ready for the challenging year ahead - children will be bringing home their 'Journals' from these two days on Friday; please do ask them about it when they do!

Year 6 Parent Orientation 2026/2027

Details are coming on a separate letter, but Mr Wade will be hosting the Year 6 Parent Orientation meeting, available to all of you, in our main hall on Monday 7th September 9:00 - 10:00. This meeting will outline Year 6, answer a lot of common questions, and begin to build relationships between staff and parents all in an effort to give your children the best and most supported final year of Primary school as possible.
