English: Windrush Biographies (Hot Tasks) In English, the children have reached the grand finale of our biography unit. This week, they put all their knowledge and skills to the test by writing their Hot Tasks—independent biographies focusing on the inspiring lives of members of the Windrush Generation. All of the children who are attending the Hackney Empire Theatre had one of their sessions in preperation for the show today. They will have their last one next week. Just a reminder that if you signed your child up they will be leaving school at 8:45 (children to be in school for 8:30). They will need a packed lunch and will be returning before the end of the school day.

In order to complete all guitar lessons this term to allow for the impact of Sports Day, there will be an extra session on Tuesday 30th June for Year 6 and the Year 1/2 small group session. Children should bring their guitar with them on the mornings of Tuesday and Thursday this week.
