We have reached the end of term! The children have worked so hard in their first term in Key stage 2. We are incredibly proud of them and what they have already achieved. In the New Year, we are looking to build a Reading Army to help support our EYFS children with their reading practise in school. Regular reading is incredibly important for young children. It helps to develop language, confidence, comprehension, and a love of books, all of which are key foundations for learning across the curriculum. A reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday 17th December, is Christmas dinner day, Christmas jumper day AND we will be filming our festive video!   If you have not pre-ordered a Christmas dinner for your child, unfortunately our catering provider has now begun preparing for tomorrow's service and is unable to accept further requests for meals (so please remember to provide a packed lunch for them).  Christmas jumpers should be worn over school uniform - this is NOT a non-uniform day
