Our final trip Around the Wonderful World takes us to China , where we will be celebrating Chinese New Year – the Year of the Horse . Throughout the week, the children will be immersed in learning about Chinese New Year traditions and cultural aspects through a range of exciting activities. In maths, we will be comparing quantities using lucky red envelopes . Our story focus, The Great Race  by Emily Hiles , will help the children understand why the Chinese New Year animals

Morning everyone! On the first day back after half term, Westerings will be holding a Times Table Rockstar Day!  Children will be coming in dressed up as their favourite rockstars! Prizes to be won for best costumes!  We will be unveiling our new 144 Challenge! There will be class battles, whole school competitions and plenty of other fun across the day!
