Friday update

A brilliant first week back from our year 3 children! Lots of new topics and learning. We have been grasping column addition and subtraction in maths and also have started to use maps and atlases to find different countries in Europe within our Geography.

This week your homework assignment on doodle will be Doodle English. Please keep up your five a day! It is very important that you are reading 4 times a week at home and recording this on boom reader. You will earn 4 dojos for being a star reader!

Next Friday 15th, we are taking part in an International day of action on plastic pollution. The children will be involved in online assemblies, quizzes and activities in the classroom. One of these activities is a creative one. Please could the children bring in a small empty plastic bottle of some kind. The children will be designing and making their own boats!
