Dear Violet and Poppy families,

Wow — what an amazing first half term it’s been in Year 2! We can’t quite believe how much we’ve packed into these weeks. From our wonderful learning adventures in the classroom to all the laughter, creativity, and teamwork along the way, your children have made us so proud.

The children have thrown themselves into every challenge with enthusiasm and kindness — showing curiosity, resilience, and so much joy for learning. We’ve seen brilliant writing, super maths thinking, fantastic reading, and some truly imaginative art and topic work. It’s been such a pleasure to see how much everyone has grown in confidence already!

A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for your continued support — from reading at home to helping with spellings and cheering your little ones on every step of the way. You make such a difference, and we are so grateful.

Now it’s time for a well-earned rest! We hope you all have a wonderful, safe, and happy half term together — full of family time, fresh air, and fun.

We can’t wait to see you all again after the break, ready for more exciting learning adventures in Year 2!
