Year 3 Friday update

A lovely first week back in year 3. We have started reading the Wild Robot and planning how to write a survival guide. In Science we have learnt all about friction and we had fun testing different surfaces for a looping car toy.

In Art we have looked at paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe ready for our watercolour unit. In Spanish we have begun to learn how to say and write different animal nouns.

On Monday year 3 will be going on a walk around Hockley for our Geography and History enquiry. Please make sure the children have warm, waterproof coats and any hats, gloves and scarfs too as it is getting a bit chilly now!
