A Fantastic Start to the Term!

It has been a wonderful couple of days welcoming the children back to school! We have hit the ground running, diving into topics around growth mindset, understanding 'big feelings', exploring the Zones of Regulation, and some of us writing letters to our future selves. We have been so impressed with the children's attitudes towards their learning, and it has been lovely to see so many big smiles coming through the classroom doors each morning!

Spellings for Next Week

Our spelling focus for next week covers words ending in '-tious' and '-ious'. Please encourage your child to practise writing them out:

Reminders for Next Week

• Friday – PE: Please ensure children arrive in their full school PE kit.

• Walk Home Permission Forms: We have received a lot of requests regarding independent walking home! If you would like your child to walk home, please sign the permission form via the app (listed under Westerings Home School Agreement).

• Reading at Home: Please continue to support your child's reading journey at home. Remember to log all reading on Boom Reader - our goal is a minimum of 4 reads per week.
