Year 6 Weekly Update (9/1/26)
Dear parents and carers, What a first week back! Week 4 Weekly Update - 09.01.26
We have had an absolutely whirlwind of a week! From the magical halls of Warner Bros. Studio Tour to the dense (imaginary) undergrowth of the Amazon! Year 3 Friday update
A lovely first week back in year 3. We have started reading the Wild Robot and planning how to write a survival guide. In Science we have learnt all about friction and we had fun testing different surfaces for a looping car toy. In Art we have looked at paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe ready for our watercolour unit. In Spanish we have begun to learn how to say and write different animal nouns. On Monday year 3 will be going on a walk around Hockley for our Geography and History

Year 5 Week Beginning 12.1.26
What a brilliant first week back. We have just begun working on our new text for the Spring term - Cogheart. Diving into the world of Steampunk! We have spent a lot of time this week learning and using new vocabulary. In maths, we have been revising angles from Year 4 ready to move into Year 5 learning.
