Next week, our story focus will be The Very Helpful Hedgehog  by Rosie Wellesley ! We’ll be diving into the wonderful world of British wildlife, discovering the habitats of animals that hibernate, and learning how we can help care for them as the colder months arrive. A reminder that the primary school (Reception) admission round opened on  Monday 10 November 2025 , for parents of children to apply for a Reception school place for the academic year that starts in September 2026.  Even if you already have a sibling at school, you will still need to apply if you have a child due to start Reception next September. To support Children In Need at school, our children will be taking part in the  virtual dance sessions  supporting children in need.  This has been organised by Castle Point and Rochford School Sport Partnership.
