What a fantastic first half term we’ve had! We are so proud of how well the children have settled into school life. They have been absolutely brilliant at learning the rules and routines, and it's been such a pleasure to see them grow in confidence each day.
As we head into the holiday break, we’d like to set a few fun challenges to keep those brains ticking over! Please continue practising your sounds (using the green book) and numbers up to 10 – a little bit of daily practice goes a long way. It would also be helpful to work on 'Fred Talk' (robot talking words by breaking them down into their sounds, e.g. c-a-t, p-i-g, d-o-g).
Another great skill to practise is putting on and taking off their coats, jumpers, or cardigans, and making sure they are the right way around. We’d love to see some of these moments captured on Tapestry, so please do share!
And of course, don’t forget to upload all your fun adventures over the holiday. We can’t wait to hear all about them!
Wishing you a wonderful break!
First Week back
We will be starting with a focus on all things Halloween!
To make our classroom extra festive, we would love any leftover Halloween decorations or props you may have left over such as spiders, cobwebs, pumpkins, cauldrons, witches' hats, or skeletons.. We are also on the lookout for cotton wool balls and golf tees.
Thank you in advance for your support. We can’t wait to see what next term has in store!
