Next week

Next week, we are excited to announce that we will be having Superhero Week! Our story focus will be "There's a Superhero in My Book," and we have lots of fun activities planned.

For one of our projects, we will be doing some junk modelling, so we kindly ask for any small junk items (nothing too large, please!) to be brought in. Additionally, each child will need to bring in a plain pillowcase and a small cereal box by Friday, 18th October.

Thank you so much for your continued support—we're looking forward to a super week ahead!

Reminders:

  • In addition to completing 4 reads a week (Friday to Friday), we encourage the children to practise their sounds in their green book daily. This regular practise supports their learning, and each week we assess the sounds they have learned so far. As the children make progress, we’ll begin providing them with ‘Sound Blending’ books to help them further develop their blending skills. Phonics videos are uploaded weekly on Class dojo so if your children is struggling with a particular sound- they can watch the videos to help.

  • Tapestry- Don't forget to upload any learning, adventures, milestones etc on Tapestry. We love sharing these with the class.
